About the iGEM Simulations

Engage your students and prepare them for the iGEM 2019 competition with Labster’s award-winning lab simulations.

To help you get started, we have scaffold 15 recommended simulations into 3 levels: 4 simulations relating some basic lab practice and biology, 4 simulations covering the central dogma of molecular biology and 8 simulations that really home in on those cutting edge molecular techniques and concepts that would give any team a competitive edge.

With Labster iGEM access, your students will have full access to our entire simulation catalog for a limited time. Fill out the form to get started!

What can you use the iGEM Package for?

Recognize the international hazard symbols and learn how to properly dress for the laboratory in Laboratory Safety Simulation.

Learn how to edit the genome of Escherichia coli in order to enhance the beta-carotene metabolic pathway that was previously inserted in the MAGE Virtual laboratory.

Join an iGEM team to design a biosensor that can sense biofilm-forming bacteria in the Genetically Engineered Machine Simulation.

Our iGEM Survival Kit Package empowers students with a diverse introduction to synthetic biology principles, confidence to design and perform biological experiments, and interpret instrumental data.

Level up your science knowledge with this 15 simulation package
